Forum Launch

Today I finally launched a forum section on my site! I have set up a section for MenuMatic, a section for MooScroll and a section for MooColumns. If you have any questions, feedback, comments, etc I encourage you to post them there from now on and your questions will probably get answered a lot quicker that way. I figure there are enough downloads that there should be enough users out there to warrent a forum :) (MenuMatic ~ 18k downloads, MooScroll ~ 3k downloads, MooColumns ~ 1k downloads).

You may also notice a few other minor changes around here and that is because I moved over to Drupal (from a custom built cms), my blog which used to be in Blogger is now in Drupal as well. I used Yahoo Pipes in conjunction with FeedBurner so as to not loose any subscribers. Also I am on Twitter now.. took me long enough right?

The next release of MenuMatic is not far down the road.. I have incorporated bug fixes and feature requests that many of you have sent me. I have also thrown in a few things I wanted in there as well (such as imageless drop shadows and arrows). I still have to incorporate a few more feature requests, and take a look at a few more IE6 bugs but it is getting closer.

Safari 4 Mac only submenu vertical position problem

Hello,
I don't know if the issue was specific to my config as I yet changed many things in the css but had to add a small line to correct this :
Safari on Mac only (o_o) couldn't properly vertically position childmenus when scrolling down the page for an absolute positionned instance of MenuMatic vertical ?! Submenus were not showing next the concerned buttons but higher on the page.

} else { if(this.options.direction.x === "right") {
//ugly hack
this.childMenu.style.top=this.btn.getPosition().y+'px';
//ugly hack end

If it can help someone...

Very informative articles, but you must improve your blog design

Submenu does not appear

I am very pleased with the dropdown menu that you created, but I have a problem with your project, when I want to use the following syntax, a submenu can not arise. Can you overcome this problem, please let me back if you can finish it.

<ul id="navmenu">
<li><a href="#"><span>Level 1</span></a>
<div class="style1"><div class="style2"><div class="style3"></div></div></div>
<ul>
<li><a href="#"><span>Level 2</span></a></li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>

As shown in the syntax above, I add a little class to the div, this seems to be a problem so that the submenu does not appear, but can you tell me how do I add a div and class to add style to the submenu. Examples like those used by RoketTheme.com with fusion menu that they have.

MenuMatic

When you move your mouse completely off the menus, would it be possible to make the sub-menus disappear immediately, and the main menu to fade/slide out gradually. Right now, they both start sliding out at the same time, and it looks a little goofy. Here's an example of how it should work - http://www.planetmagpie.com/. If you look at the menus on that site, you'll notice they slide out a little more neatly.

Thanks
